Please read through the claim instructions carefully
- Please be advised that Reliable Delivery & Moving will not acknowledge the registration of a claim until a completed claim form is received. It is imperative that all necessary fields are accurately and completely filled out to facilitate the claims process.
- Kindly ensure that you carefully review the provisions outlined in your insurance certificate (if available), as well as the terms and conditions of your contract. This information can be found on the order for service, bill of lading, moving contract, and inventory.
- Please take note that Reliable Delivery & Moving retains the right to conduct an inspection of any damaged items within a reasonable timeframe. We advise against initiating any repairs, replacements, or disposals until a completed claim form has been submitted and reviewed by our team, who will then determine the appropriate course of action.
- We kindly request that you refrain from disposing of any damaged item or its associated shipping carton until such time as Reliable Delivery & Moving has conducted an inspection and authorized their disposal. This measure is to ensure that all relevant evidence is preserved and available for review to facilitate a fair and accurate assessment of your claim. Failure to comply with this request may result in delays or complications during the claims process.
- We kindly request that you refrain from initiating any repairs to damaged items without obtaining prior authorization from Reliable Delivery & Moving. Please note that any unauthorized inspections or repairs undertaken by the claimant will be done so at their own risk and expense and may potentially void the claim. It is essential that all damaged items are kept in their current state until a thorough assessment has been conducted by our team. This measure is to ensure that all necessary information is obtained to facilitate a fair and accurate resolution of your claim.
- Please be advised that Reliable Delivery & Moving retains salvage rights to any damaged item we have replaced. We kindly request that you refrain from discarding any such damaged item without obtaining prior authorization from our company. This measure is to ensure that all relevant evidence is preserved and available for review to facilitate a fair and accurate assessment of your claim. Any unauthorized disposal of such items may result in complications or delays during the claims process.
- The submission of incomplete information may result in a delay in the settlement of your claim. Please note that Reliable Delivery & Moving reserves the right to request additional information from you to ensure thorough and accurate processing of your claim. We strongly advise that all necessary information and supporting documentation are provided promptly to avoid any unnecessary delays or complications during the claims process.
- Reliable Delivery & Moving will deduct any applicable deductible from the claim settlement, which may result in no payment.
- All local move claims must be reported within 90 days after the delivery date as per Texas Law.
- Please be advised that It can take up to 30 days to complete the claims process.

We kindly request that you provide any information or comments that you may have as to how the loss or damage occurred. Doing so will greatly facilitate the processing of your claim. If additional space is required, please utilize additional pages and ensure that they contain the same information as requested above.
In the event that any additional correspondence pertaining to the claim is necessary, please reference the Reliable Delivery & Moving Sales/Order Number.
